A MAN'S GIFT
Poem written by Daniel Ajonuma
A man's drift makes him to stray;
but mere gift makes him a way.
A man's fear leads him to failure;
but mere clear leads him to his future.
A man's lead drives him to learn;
but mere greed drives him to burn.
A man's desire turns him to a clown;
but mere fire turns him to his crown.
A man's perfection is in his people;
but mere progression is in his riddle.
A man's toil sustains his lift;
but mere foil sustains his gift.
In every man's gift
There is a lift.
