Valedictory Speech by Eniara

Good day dear parents, teachers and fellow pupils.  It is indeed an honour to be the valedictorian of the graduating class of 2018.

I want to say that KHMS pupils are not lucky but blessed to be in this school. The teachers are nice and pupils are hardly ever bullied.  It's been an amazing experience, one that I'll always remember.

I joined KHMS in Basic 3 and I didn't think I'd even be close to getting along this well, I mean, look at where I am now.  My basic 3 teacher was Miss Anita. She was very kind, generous and forgiving. Next, my basic 4 teacher was Miss Ijeoma. She loved us so very much. My basic 5 teacher was Mr Daniel who taught us to work not only harder but smarter. To my other teachers Mr John,  Miss Gbemisola and Miss Janet, you've set a great example for us all.

I can't forget the devoted Miss Edidiong Napoleon, who is like a second mother go everyone of us pupils.  You've always inspired us and constantly strive to bring out the best in us.  We thank you so very much for everything.

To my classmates, let us know that as we are moving on to secondary school, giving up is not an option. So let us continue to work hard to set a good example for our younger ones.

I'll  like to say a big thank you to all our parents for always looking out for us and helping us at all times.  You've really done a lot in laying a foundation on which we will stand on, proud. You've assisted us with tough homeworks and projects. You have done so much that we may succeed in life. And to my parents, Dr and Mrs Biyi-Olutunde thank you for your immense support, correcting me when wrong and helping me always. Thank you for teaching me to be honest, trustworthy, kind, respectful and so many other things. In return, I won't let you down.

To pupils of KHMS, try your best and leave the rest.  So if someone says you're not important or good enough, ignore him or her, they are 100% wrong. Don't let anyone intimidate or bully you, prove to them that you can be anything you want to be and you are indeed very important and special.  You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

SAY YES YOU CAN!
SAY YES YOU CAN!
SAY YES YOU CAN!
SAY YES YOU CAN!
SAY YES YOU CAN!
SAY YES YOU CAN!
SAY YES YOU CAN!

So, shine bright like a star amongst others.

Thank you so much once again. God bless KHMS, God bless the students,  God bless the  teachers and God bless our loving parents.
