Please do the following activity:
  1. Find the work done by a man if he carries 60kg up, to a distance of 3m.
  2. A boy pushes by applying a force of 5N. Find the work done by this force as the book is displaced through 20cm along the push.
  3. A man has been guarding a house for one hour. Why is it not considered work in science?
  4. Name two sources of sound.
  5. Why does a person standing for a long time get tired when he does not appear to do any work?
  6. Differentiate between force and work?
  7. Define work and write its unit.
  8. When you rub your palms together, they feel hot indicating that work-done against friction involved converting mechanical energy into _______ energy.
  9. A boy pushes a load of mass 10kg to a distance of 20metres in 10seconds. Calculate:
     a) The work done
     b) The boy’s power
